She hums her sacred song is a beautiful collection of poems and drawings created in collaboration with Canadian poet Tara Arnst and artist-publisher Manu Büchting. Tara’s poems feel like vivid memories — intimate reflections shaped by her deep connection with the natural world.
In response, I created drawings through an intuitive process of gathering words, textures, and images like fragments, using charcoal, pastel, and pencil. This artist book is a love letter to nature.
 
Designed and published by Deer Press, She hums her sacred song is finished with beautifully stitched pink spines, making each copy a delightful object to hold. As one fellow artist described, “these drawings and beautiful poems hold a gentle magic.”
